Either make an accusation and be direct or shut up and take your medicine I say

Is EVERY sprinter a crybaby? Dangerous finish? C’mon Tyler, grow a set.

Oh my, now that’s a surprise. Cav had a can of spinach in his jersey pocket, and you thought it was a water bottle? Just call it the Popeye recovery. He’s a sprinter, do the math. Long duration pulls are hard for some of us, and others have a throttle that goes to 110 per cent- for a little while.

I honestly don’t think that Tyler was insinuating anything about Cav. I believe that he probably thought that Cav wouldn’t have the legs to win today in light of the difficulties he had in the mountains yesterday. That’s what he was talking about. He was obviously upset about, once again, being the bridesmaid. He felt that this was going to be his day.

There was a suggestion that Cav finished just around a minute from the cut yesterday by being towed. Evidently there’s no video evidence of this happening, and I believe the individual that made the allegation has withdrawn it. That’s what Tyler was referring to in his comment. As for the dangerous finish, IMHO all sprint finishes are dangerous.
-
There were similar accusations against Cav in the stage to Mt. Etna in the Giro, that he was holding on to his team car to barely make it past the time cut.

Can’t say
