81st Critérium International all to be decided on the l’Ospedale

Corsica will host the 81st edition of the Critérium International, the third time the race will grace the Mediterranean island’s shores in its long and unique history.

Over three stages riders will vie for the coveted title hoping to join the coveted race palmares which boasts Laurent Fignon, Chris Boardman and Seán Kelly as former winners.

This year the race will get a shake-up from it’s traditional time trial finish, with organisers ASO choosing to run the queen stage, a mountain top finish at the Col de l’Ospedale, on the final day allowing the chrono men no chance for recourse. As always Cyclingnews will provide full coverage of the race.
