    A2J Rolo

A2J Technical Artisans can always be counted on for an excellent show bike. This year A2J presented the Rolo, a 4.55kg complete bike that is based around a 640g handmade frame built in Sweden. The company says the bike is fully rideable everyday, and based on the parts spec we have to agree, mostly. A2J used rideable tires, practical Praxis chainrings, and a metal (rather than short-lived carbon) cassette, all of which could have been swapped for lighter options but at the expense of durability. The builders used a stock Dura-Ace Di2 group with an internal battery.

The custom RAR wheels weigh only 745g for the pair, and are laced up with U.S-built Dash hubs.
The one-piece saddle/seatpost combination is built by Berk, a custom carbon artisan.

Total retail price? A scant $18,000.
